Evening or Afternoon!
I would like to introduce myself, I am Herr Ronin, Currently I help Manage ISN - Incursion Shiny Network a High-Sec Incursion community focused on results and statistics, I would like to put myself forward for CSM 8, There are many reasons why I have thought about a decision like this; one of the main Factor's is currently High-Sec has not got a Voice on the CSM, with that being said CCP made a change to Incursions that nearly killed the community aspect of it. Change's like these are making it hard for High Sec pilots to adapt and succeed, changes that CCP releases, with no idea, or input on the impact to the High-Sec Player base.
If a High-Sec CSM can maintain good communication and give feedback on CCPGÇÖs releases then many of these harsh change's can be avoided or minimized. As the elections for CSM 8 get closer I will be expanding on my four points and revising as necessary, the current points are below.

Incursions
High Sec War Mechanics
Mining
Mission Running

When the time comes closer to the CSM 8 I will be going into further detail about my points, However regarding the missions, I think the majority of High Sec mission runners are crying out for a change, The AI from incursions would make Missions more interesting if you are doing them with a friend or a corporation, Having different rat's warp in depending which ship that you are flying, Meaning this will change the outcome of every mission.
Like I said I will go into my point's further at a later date, Currently at this time I am making people aware that I will be running for CSM 8 representing High Sec.

~ OK so I just got back int incursions recently, I know about the Escalation changes. Is it those changes you are talking about? If so how did they hurt the community (I know about the current in-fighting about who (if anyone) gets to make rules about incursions - I consider that to be standard non-destructive inter player eve competition). If not, what changes were considered but not made? So far my return to incursions has been fun profitable and a new more interactive aspect of eve then I've done before.
Welcome back to Incursions, It was the change's made on the 22nd of May that had a very drastic effect on many community's, the majority of Vanguard/Assault community's disbanded or went offline, the main reason for this was the change effected the amount of Isk you could make per hour, another thing they changed was the kill order of each site, community's where heavily effected by this change with losing members due to the lack of interest.
There was another patch effecting the Sansha control bar, Making it very hard for the Incursion community's to keep it above 50%, After much adapting and improvement over the past months from CCP, the incursion community's have now stabilised with the member base and activity coming back to incursions.

But regardless, you have all my votes :) When the time comes closer to the CSM 8 I will be going into further detail about my points, However regarding the missions, I think the majority of High Sec mission runners are crying out for a change, The AI from incursions would turn a spin on missions making them more interesting, maybe having different rat's warp into the site depending which ship that you are flying, Instead of the first ship that warps into the site getting permanent aggro, for instance if a RR boat warps in, The mission will spawn ECM/Damp's, causing the pilot to rethink his fitting. Like I said I will go into my point's further at a later date, Currently at this time I am making people aware that I will be running for CSM 8 representing High Sec. TBH there is a lot more subtle things that can be done for missions makeing a pilot nopt knowing what hes going up against and haveing to refit per missions would not only be a bad idea but woul cause an uproar as many ships have to be mission specificly tanked. also giving mission rats an Ai similar to that of incursion pilots of them changeing targets would infact not impact on the solo mission runner.
Like i said, None of the thing's i have said are any of my points that i am going to make, Currently it is just idea bashing or getting feedback, Regardless i think we can all agree that missions need a bit of a update.

I am currentlly taking email suggestions from any and all players and will strongly represent the communities will. Knowing that my particular game play is as indivudual as all other High sec players, I dont presume to know what everyone wants but i will do my best to represent them in CSM 8.

Thank you for all your feedback so far, It is very much appreciated and thank you to the current CSM Members for giving me tips/advise, like i said I'll be answering questions and getting this on the road when we get closer to the CSM, I am glad to see that people are being mature and keeping on topic.

How very true, Considering I joined this corporation before i took a X-Mas break, It does look like they have joined a Null Sec Alliance, I understand that a simple thing like this can confuse people like yourself, but if you digged a little bit more you will see i have 0% Interest in SQUEE and i have been dormant in a High Sec.
